CHURCH STREET STATION

129 W. Church Street in downtown Orlando. If you arrive before 5 p.m. admission is free. After 7 p.m. there is a charge to get into the nightclubs, there is no charge for the shopping exchange.

GATORLAND

"The Alligator Capital of the World" On 44 1, just off 192, between Kissimmee and Orlando, (407) 855-5496. Featuring three exciting shows - 'Gator Wrestling', 'Gator Jumparoo and Snakes of Florida. See thousands of alligators plus crocodiles, birds, reptiles and others. Walk over the Alligator Breeding Marsh and Cypress Swamp. Free train ride. Sample 'gator ribs and nuggets. Open daily 8 a.m. to dusk.

GREEN MEADOWS FARMS

10 miles from Disney World. From I-4, exit Hwy 192 east, turn right at Poinciana, go 5 miles, (407) 846-0770. Take a guided tour of Kissimmee's farm and get "hands-on" experience. Milk a cow and have a hayride. Pony rides for kids. More than 200 animals to interact with. Open 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

THE HAUNTED HOUSE OF OLD TO TOWN

5770 W. Irio Bronson Hwy. (192), Kissimmee, (407) 397-2231. In the "dead center" of Kissimmee's Old Town, the Haunted House is a three-story Victorian Mansion with 4000 "scare-feet" of space. The attractions emphasis is on frightening fun rather than grisly gore and includes animated figures, secret passages, rats, bats transformations, unearthly manifestations and a "horrific" finale. Open daily 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. daily.

KISSIMMEE RODEO

Kissimmee Sports Arena, 1010 -Suhl's Lane, off Hoagland Blvd (exit 192 off Hwy 192 going south) Join in the all American fun at Kissimmee Youth Rodeo, held every Friday night and featuring calf-roping, bull-riding, barrel-racing and the "calf scramble". Admission $8 Adults $3 Children (under 12).

LEU BOTANICAL GARDENS

1730 N. Forest Avenue, Orlando (407) 246-2620. A beautiful place to enjoy nature. Adults $3 Children $1. Open every day.

MEDIEVAL LIFE

Vine Street (192), Kissimmee (407) 396-1518. Experience the life of 1000 years past when entering the village of Raymondburg. You will witness actual artisans working on their trades as well as the "Birds of Prey" exhibition. Be warned! As you enter the spine-tingling dungeon and torture chamber, you may not escape with your life. Adults $8 Children $6. Open 4 - 9 p.m.

MERCADO MEDITERRANEAN VILLAGE

MYSTERY FUN HOUSE

SEAWORLD

SPLENDID CHINA

In Kissimmee on U.S. 102, 3 miles west of I-4 (exit 25B) (407) 397-8800. Orlando's newest major attraction offers visitors the chance to see the wonders of the Orient. Replicated are more than 60 of China's best known scenic, historic and cultural sites both in full scale and in miniature. Authentic Chinese cuisine and items for purchase. SUNSHINE CLASSICS

Specialists in Corvettes, mopar, high performance, classic and muscle cars. They ship vehicles to Europe and have and an office in Essex, England. Children's playground and gift shop on premises. UNIVERSAL STUDIOS FLORIDA

The largest motion picture and television facility outside Hollywood, also offering more than 40 rides, shows and attractions and realistic back lot sets. BOK TOWER GARDENS

Three miles north of Lake Wales, off County Road 17A, (941) 676-1408. The carillon built of Georgia marble and St. Augustine coquina stone, as on the National Register of Historic Places. Admission: Adults $3 Children under 12 free. Open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

BUSCH GARDENS

Take 1-4 west to 275 north, exit 54 (Fowler Avenue) go west six miles to McKinley. (941) 987-5082. This 300 acre African theme park offers rides, shows, shops, restaurants, live entertainment and one of the world's largest collections of wild and exotic animals. CYPRESS GARDENS

South West of Orlando off U.S. 27 near Winter Haven (941). This 223 acre family attraction features spectacular water ski shows, world famous gardens, an elaborate model railroad, children's rides and old-fashioned circus and a colorful cast of performing birds. DON GARLITS MUSEUM OF DRAG RACING

Located off C. R. 484, off 1-75, exit 67, one hour north of Orlando and minutes south of Ocala. See more than 75 racing cars and memorabilia from the early days of drag racing to the present. SILVER SPRINGS

Major attractions include the Lost River Voyage, Jeep Safari, Glass bottomed Boats, Jungle Cruise, Doolittles Petting Zoo and the new Antique and Race Car Museum.
